Are you interested in working as a Logistics Specialist opportunity in the cleared space? If so, we are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team in Charleston, SC. These are critical times in the world and Parsons needs your help to make us a little bit more secure. This is your chance to help us with this vital mission.

You will:

  • Review technical data, Bill of materials (BOMs) and other Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)/Vendor Furnished Information (VFI) for developing logistics support packages (LSI) and associated records.

  • Review PTD and SPTD for accuracy and applicability to Program.

  • Provide input into the creation or updates of the ULSS document.

  • Utilize ePMS to assist in the creation and updates to the MIPs and MRCs.

  • Provide input and updates to the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan.

  • Create and track Technical Manual Identification Numbers (TMIN) through the TDMIS database Technical Document Management Information System - (TDMIS) is the database used to manage and track the life-cycle history of technical manuals (TMs).

  • Assist in the analysis of Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability Codes used in the development of configuration hierarchical structured Provisioning Parts Lists while supporting the analysis of Logistics Support Analysis Record inputs to determine the final parts to be provisioned.

  • Research parts data to identify all contract-required data elements for provisioned parts, using on-line reference databases (Web FLIS) , HIS Haystack Gold, and other automated and manual tools as necessary in support of ICAPS and APLs.

  • Develop and load provisioning data utilizing the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) for the generation of various LSA reports.

  • Create, edit, and track the shipping, Defense Reutilization Management Orders (DRMOs), and transfers of equipment in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and CMPRO databases.

  • Track and edit material entries for obsolescence and end-of-life via Q-Star.

Experience and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree. Working towards Professional Logistics Certification – i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 1, or have equivalent logistics training (resume to specify all equivalent training), or possess an additional one (1) year working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.

Experience: Three (3) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes. One (1) year of experience in support of C5ISR systems. Demonstrated skills, to include: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, and Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures. Note: Experience may be concurrent.

Required qualifications

Candidate MUST possess Secret Security Clearance upon Date of Hire.

Extensive knowledge of MIL-STD-1552-2B, MIL-STD 1388, GEIA-STD-0007-A and MIL-PRF-49506.

Accounts to ICAPS will require a SAAR-N for access.
