Provides direction and management for the client facility and ensures required schedule maintenance and needed repairs are completed in accordance with contractual obligations. The Facility Lead is responsible for working with our client on the annual facility electrical program as required to meet planned facility goals and objectives. Based on an in-depth knowledge of client objectives, devise methods to execute facility goals. The Facility Lead will also participate in facility electrical upgrades and expansion projects with respect to the integration of engineering/technical services, as well as procurement and construction activities.


Acts on behalf of our client to manage and execute all maintenance, operations and repairs for the electrical systems required by a fully functional facility. The selected candidate will work with client to establish a Facility Management Plan to include as example:

• Routine preventive maintenance for operating equipment

• Regular schedules for exterior grounds lighting, electrical and security systems

• Provide for, and mange security as required by the facilities tenants

• Implement repairs to electrical and network systems in a timely manner so as not to jeopardize facility reliability

• Oversee network functionality and troubleshoot issues as they arise

• Hire and manage direct labor, specialty contractors and vendors as required by facility maintenance/repair as it relates to electrical operations

• Prepare and manage annual operations budgets for electrical systems and equipment

As a Company representative with the client, the Facility Electrical Lead will be responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with OM performance. At the direction of client, he will participate in discussions with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of the client’s intended facility goals and objectives.

Oversees establishment of Facility Management Plan for electrical and network systems. Establishes the program requirements for these plans and executes the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.

Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions associated with the operation and maintenance of the electrical and network systems within the facility. Determine with client input when facility operations will require specialized expertise and assigns responsibility for executing these tasks.

Mobilizes Parsons resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, when required to support facility management or to assist client in their efforts to implement changes and upgrades to the facility.

Promotes technical and commercial excellence within the facility through application of Quality Assurance processes. Monitors and reports to client on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect budget or operating schedule.

4-year degree in an electrical or network systems related field, Navy or electrical Engineering degree, or an electrician’s license preferred (or equivalent) and at least 10 years of related experience in electrical systems management.


Demonstrated leadership and management skills.

Strong written and oral communication, organizational, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills are required. Ability to work in teams. Ability to follow through. Ability to clearly deliver work instructions.

High-level understanding and appreciation of Project Management and Facilities Management.

Excellent business judgment.

Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting). Ability to interact with an influence senior-level management. Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors.

Excellent organization and follow through abilities.

Strong knowledge of codes and regulations covering electrical maintenance and workers’ safety.

Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
