Parsons is now hiring an Administrative Assistant for our rapidly expandingtransportationteam located in Atlanta, Georgia.

We need our Assistants at this level to gather statistics and general data; reviews and combines this information into established reports for use within and outside the unit.
In this role you will perform various administrative, clerical, data collection, data entry, and report writing tasks specific to assigned project or work group. Most assignments require familiarity with standard Company processes and good PC skills.
Completes a variety of complex assignments requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to interface effectively with a variety of people.
Focuses on scheduling, inventory, reports, documentation, events, client appreciation and incident management projects.
Plans and coordinates employee meetings and other client meetings and events. Serves as a liaison between Parsons and the onsite client staff.
May review vendor invoices. Works with key meeting coordinators and company management to ensure clear communication regarding all events and assignments.
While onsite at the meeting, provides guidance and supervision to other staff as requested, including the assignment of work and review of completed assignments.
Initiates reports, as appropriate, for any or all functions. Gathers, organizes, and analyzes materials; produces and distributes data in graphic, spreadsheet, or narrative format. May develop computerized logs. Develops guidelines for standard reports from each function.
Creates content for client presentations using a variety of methods to include video, PowerPoint and written documentation. Assists with retrieving mail daily from an offsite location. Requires coordination with the client Training Manager to assist with a scheduling tracking system to manage employee training, room reservation and setup. Documents fleet management maintenance.
Assists with uniform inventory, supplies, employee contact information and new employee documentation.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. May require some light lifting. Typically works Monday – Friday; however flexibility is key as there will be occasional Weekends that are required. Must have reliable transportation.
High School Diploma
5-8 years of relevant experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required. Creativity and the ability to meet deadlines is required.
Exemplary professional attitude and demonstrated ability in exercising tact, diplomacy, good judgment, and customer service and support, as well as the ability to interface effectively with a variety of people is also required. Position requiresstrong knowledge of corporate policies and procedures, as well as the ability to exercise good judgment to appropriately handle confidential issues.
Must have strong PC skills (MS Word, MS Excel etc.) as well as, utilize graphics programs, and Microsoft Office SharePoint server technologies. Must be detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently, as a team member or leading a team.
