Parsons is seeking to hire a Cyber Planner to join our fast-growing team based out of Centreville, Virginia. The ideal candidate is a recently retired DoD cyber planner with operational cyber experience supporting the Army and/or Air Force. The Cyber Planner will work with our DoD customer and assist in Strategy, COA development, exercise planning, CONOP development, and advise on varied cyber efforts. Primary place of performance will be Centreville, VA and Ft Belvoir, VA.
Responsibilities and Daily Tasks:
The primary job responsibilities are inclusive of, but not limited to, the following:
Assist in all phases of deliberate and crisis action planning
Develop briefings, CONOPS, and exercise plans with little to no oversight or assistance
Participate in and, as needed, lead Operational Planning Teams (OPT)
Act as a liaison to other staff directorates to integrate IO and special programs as needed
Maintain constant situational awareness on cyber operations and intelligence
Perform cyberspace mission analysis and develop COAs for leadership
Assist with cyber exercise planning and execution
Provide feedback for doctrine development
Provide staff support and coordination at meetings, program reviews, conferences and briefings, prepare materials (point papers, talking points, agendas, etc.), host and participate in events, record minutes and track action items.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree 10+ or more years’ relevant experience
Extensive experience with MDMP/JOPP/JOPES
Comfortable interacting with and briefing senior government civilians and military (SES/GO/FO)
Must be willing to travel occasionally (up to 20%)
Current Top Secret clearance w/SCI eligibility
Highly Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a technical field plus 15 or more years’ relevant experience
Staff experience in J5, J3, J39, J3X, and/or J6
DoD 8570/8140 certified
