POSITION OVERVIEW:

TheEnterprise Architectwill be supporting the Lead Systems Engineer of a large multi-disciplinary team of engineering professionals that are helping solve the most critical cyber challenges for the United States Government. The candidate will implement and improve upon established procedures while performing a variety of tasks related to leading the technical execution of a high-visibility program. The candidate will be relied upon for their detail-oriented approach towards accurately understanding the complex system. The ideal candidate thrives on being challenged.

Overall, the candidate will become a key part of elevating the efficiency and performance of the entire growing team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

TheEnterprise Architectmust have extensive experience in the following areas:

Framework

  • Possess strongDoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)knowledge,skill, andability

  • Support establishing, implementing and executing theEAprocessesto increase our sustainability and prepare us for future expansion

  • Identify ways to increase employee knowledge and skills to support future growth

Requirements

  • Analyze customer requirements that are often generic and abstract

  • Derive requirements down into testable thresholds and objectives

  • Enable collaboration among various subsystem teams to gather and communicate requirements

  • Support the presentation / defense of the derived requirements to the customer

Design

  • Creation of various types ofEnterprise and System Architecture viewpointsfor improved communication

  • Functional and physical decomposition of complex hardware/software systems to be linked

  • Support the presentation / defense of the designs to the customer

Research

  • Provide consultation to teams performing research on theNextgen system

  • Review incremental progress and technical reports for completeness

  • Support the presentation / defense of the research to the customer

Writing

  • DevelopEAdocumentations, processes and plans

  • Review user guides and test documents for accuracy and completeness

  • Support the editing / delivery of artifacts to the customer

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in System Engineering, ComputerScience, Computer Engineering or related field along with 15+ years of relatedwork experience

  • Extensive experience with enterprisearchitecture best practices and goals

  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills

  • Jira,Confluence, and SharePointexperience

  • ArtificialIntelligent/Machine Learning (AI/ML)knowledge is preferred

  • RMF (POAM, STIGs/SRGs) experience and Security+ orany other security related certification is a plus

  • Candidate must meet eligibility requirements for a TSsecurity clearance by the U.S. Government within a reasonable time aftercommencement of employment

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Good written and oral communication, organizational,and interpersonal skills are required

  • Strong background in SDLC and IP networking is required

  • FEAC Certificate ispreferred
