Join Parsons as the Lead Engineer for embedded software development team!

The Embedded Software Development Lead position provides technical direction for a team of Embedded Software developers and Vulnerability Researchers. You will represent the team by interfacing directly with the Program Manager. The position requires excellent organizational, communications and technical ability.

Required Experience:

  • Provide technical leadership for a team of 10 Embedded Software Developers and Vulnerability Researchers

  • Interface and Coordinate with Program Manager related to tasking of the development team

  • Interface with customer

  • Lead team through Requirements mapping, Design Reviews, development, testing and delivery of products

  • Expert in Embedded System and Computer Architecture

  • Expert in Linux Kernel Development and RTOS operation such as VxWorks

  • Experience with Linux Inter-process Communication methods including semaphores, pipes, signals, shared memory and message queues

  • Expert knowledge of data structures and algorithm efficiency

  • Expert knowledge of network protocols

  • Experience with network programming including TCP Sockets, UDP datagrams and kernel module network buffer interaction

  • Experience with the configuration of Network equipment including switches, routers, firewalls

  • Experience with cross compilers and gnu code development tools

  • Experience with assembly and reverse engineering methodologies

  • Experience with Python development

  • Knowledgeable of Vulnerability Research techniques and tools including IDA Pro

  • At least 8 years of developing C/C++ software for embedded platforms and 12+ years of overall experience

  • BS Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science and will consider experience in lieu of a degree

  • Current DoD TS required.Higher-level clearance highly desired
