Parsons Federal is seeking an Integration and Test Specialist to join a large, complex cyber program supporting the DoD.The Integration and Test Specialist will reside within the Manufacturing group and will perform System Acceptance Test and User Acceptance Tests of advanced IT systems.Under this program, several deliverable systems are comprised of COTS material that is integrated into a unique configuration.The right candidate will be responsible for working with end users and stakeholder to develop and execute test plans to ensure these complex information technology systems meet operational needs.This role requires a solid understanding of enterprise level IT systems and the principals of IT system testing.

Responsibilities

·Assess complex IT systems and develop System Acceptance and User Acceptance Test Plans

·Execute test plans for HCI systems

·Generate test reports that capture the results of tests

·Identify corrective actions and support development of a Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) for resolving deficiencies

·This is a full-time position, based in Centreville, VA.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

·4-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field with at least 8+ years of related work experience. Will consider work experience in lieu of a degree.

·Must have experience generating IT test plans

·Must have IT test and evaluation experience

·Candidate must be a US Citizen with an active security clearance by the U.S. Government.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES :

Requires engineering knowledge of converged and hyper-converged IT systems.Must be able to develop and execute IT test plans and generate test reports.The ideal candidate can clearly articulate technical ideas both verbally and in writing; should be proficient Microsoft Office Suite. Proven communications as well as familiarity with industry practices is required.Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
