Jr. Documentation Specialist
Parsons is seeking a Documentation Specialist to support the Training division of a large technical program. The Documentation Specialist will work closely with training manager and technical staff to draft technical online solutions. The Documentation Specialist will develop, write, and support technical documents including, user's manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field with coursework in communications, writing, instructional design or related courses is required. Will consider experience in lieu of a degree.
0 to 3 years of experience in related field.

·Strong communications skills in both verbal and written formats for technical solutions.
·Ability to composetechnical documents including, user's manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports
·Aptitude for technology.
·Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
·Work as part of a team to design and deploy appropriate learning and performance solutions.
·An ability to review and correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors. Recognizes and corrects inconsistencies in style (formatting, capitalization, abbreviations, etc.)
·Experience in developing teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, tutorials and reference guides.
·Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user’s manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.
·Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
·Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things
·Ability to translate complex technical content into easy-to-understand training.
·Ability to speak confidently with professionals in the cyber market.
·Active Secret clearance
·Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with coursework in communications, writing, instructional design or related courses is required.
·Must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
