Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor ofScience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Security, or arelated field

  • Must have 15+ yearscomputer programming development experience

  • Proof of US Citizenship isrequired

  • Applicants selected foremployment must have a DoD TS security clearance and must meet additional eligibilityrequirements for access to classified information or materials.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding ofsoftware development principles, data structures and algorithms

  • Programming experience in Java8+ Proficient with Linuxcommand line environments

  • Strong Computer NetworkingExperience

  • Knowledge of arp, ip, tcp, udp, dns, dhcp, and routing protocols

  • Experience with wireshark, cloudshark, and tcpdump

  • Excellent written and verbalskills to communicate with technical team members, managers and customers

  • Proficient in analyzingperformance issues and implementing efficiency improvements

  • Proficiency in concurrencythrough multithreaded programming techniques

Desired Skills

  • Experience in the following

  • Scala

  • Distributed Processing

  • Kubernetes

  • RDF Data-stores / SPARQL

  • Apache Spark

  • Apache Accumulo

  • Apache Fluo

  • MongoDB

  • Kafaka / Kafka Streams

  • Google Protobufs

  • Understanding of network equipmentand configurations

  • Working with Virtual Machines such as VMWare,Xen, KVM, OpenStack, and VirtualBox

  • Experience with Devops tools

  • Experience with Kubernetesorchestration technology

  • Experience with buildautomation technologies (Jenkins, Gradle, GIT, SVN, Maven, Ivy)

  • Experience with automatedconfiguration management tools (Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef)

  • Experience with Artifactbinary repository management (Nexus, Maven, Artifactory)

  • Experience with distributedplatforms (Kafka, Hadoop, Spark)

  • Experience with OS packagemanagement systems (Yum, Apt)
