OVERVIEW
Parsons Intelligence Solutions group is hiring a Technical Program Managerto join a rapidly growing technical directorate in Centreville, Virginia. The TPM will work closely with the program director, staff, customers, and development teams to develop and deliver solutions across a large program team in support of the customer mission. This will be accomplished by developing, organizing, and maintaining software and hardware requirements, as well as developing and maintaining schedules. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, is process oriented, and can problem solve quickly in a complex environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providetechnical planning, logistics, integration, verification validation,and effectiveness analysis for software and hardware systems
Work withcustomers to correctly define problems and generate requirements
Ensure thelogical and systematic conversion of customer or project requirements intototal systems solutions that adhere to technical, schedule, and costconstraints
Translatecustomer requirements into system-level designs, solutions, andspecifications
Work closelywith projectleadsandteamleads to developproject plans and schedules, as well as estimate resource and materialneeds
Performevaluation and reevaluation throughout the systems developmentprocess
Work closelywith developers to design and develop real solutions to customerproblems
Frequent local DC Metro Areatravel. Occasional domestic and/or international travel
Use customerrequirements to generate and maintain software development schedules
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Electrical Engineering, orrelated technical/business field
Aminimum of 10 years of relevant technical and/or business industry experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in project/program management
3+years of experience with the software development life cycle
Familiarity with virtualization technologies,networking, and shell scripting
Experiencein both Linux and Windows environments
Activesecurity clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
RedhatCertified Systems Administrator/Redhat Certified Engineer
Experiencewith Automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
Experience with system engineering,system administration, system integration, and test engineering
