Parsons is seeking a Vice President and Strategic Market Leader for Federal Healthcare, to join our team. The Strategic Market Leader will be responsible for growth strategies and implementation, including strategic planning, corporate development, strategic capture, and strategic partner initiatives. The position will regularly interact with senior management, identified customers and strategic partners to accelerate growth in the federal domestic and international health markets. Focus areas include clinical and biomedical research, health IT systems, big data analytics, telehealth and artificial intelligence.

PrimaryResponsibilities :

  • Responsible for the growth andsustainment of Parsons’ healthcare business with federal customersincluding DoD, DHA, VA, CMS, NIH and CDC

  • Develop technical solutionsusing internal resources and strategic partners to address customerneeds

  • Develop strategic plan todeliver value added propositions to customers using big data analytics,artificial intelligence and remote monitoring capabilities

  • Establish and maintainperformance metrics. Analyze account performance and create and managemarketing and sales scorecards

  • Manage and lead the BusinessDevelopment and Sales organization to deliver corporate growthobjectives

  • Work closely with the Division VPand Business Development directors to develop strategic account plans. Responsiblefor overall corporate growth strategy and plan of execution

  • Working closely with the teamof business development personnel, engineers, proposal teams as well asoperations teams to lead the development of opportunity pipelines toinclude assisting in technical requirements analysis, technical writing,partnership development, client relations development, opportunity gatereviews, and assisting with proposal activities in accordance with Parsonsestablished procedures

  • Conduct research, review, andanalysis of data from several sources (i.e. historical procurement data,open source federal procurement databases, etc.) to identify opportunitiesand obtain capture information

  • Shape and close a variety ofopportunities including a relevant mix of program types, complexities,products, technologies and customers

  • Prospect, identify/qualify newclients

  • Accurate sales forecasting on amonthly, quarterly, and annual basis

  • Proactively and regularlyinitiate client-facing development efforts

  • Effectively understand clientneeds

  • Maintain collaborativeatmosphere across Divisions by coordinating resource needs and forecastingrequirements

  • Coordinate and supportface-to-face customer meetings with senior management and C-LevelExecutives

  • Meet with clients and potentialprospects on a regular basis to build and nurture the relationship

  • Assist in preparing and runningmeetings, and deliver presentations to prospects

  • Ability to translate clientneeds into strong positioning and messaging to the marketplace

  • Provide guidance for technicalresponses to RFI/RFP/RFQ's

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 20 years professionalexperience

  • Minimum of 5 years of businessdevelopment experience

  • Minimum of 10 years ofexperience working in the federal healthcare market with a large business

  • Extensive existing customerrelationships in the healthcare market with at least three of thefollowing: DoD, DHA, VA, CMS, NIH and CDC

  • Demonstrated capability to sellall healthcare services including clinical and biomedical research, healthIT, facility services, big data analytics/artificial intelligence andtelehealth

  • Located in the Washington DCarea

  • Ability to travel as needed tosupport market

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

  • Bachelor'sdegree in a related discipline; advanced degreepreferred
