We are currently recruiting for aSafety Engineerto work on our prestigious Rail network project in Denmark called Banedanmark.

Duties Responsibilities

·Safety Management and coordination with G-ISA

·Plan and schedule Authorisation to Place in Service of the project Infrastructure East

·Follow-up and review on the Supplier’s deliveries for abovementioned

·Report directly to Programme Safety Management on matters of safety concern if not acknowledged by Project Management.

·Planning and execution of safety and interoperability safety activities including coordination with suppliers, programme level, ISAs and NSA. (including management of safety advisors)

·Review supplier’s submission and coordinate review and submissions with other parties in BDK. This also include SRAC management

·Produce BDK own safety documents (e.g. system definitions, hazard records, safety cases and authorities approval process plan (AAPP))

·Provide safety expert advise to project manager

·Support the project on safety aspects of coordination and safety analysis.

·Act as mentor for safety trainees

·Ensure safety and interoperability deliveries and achieved NSA approvals timely

·Solve possible conflicts releated to safety and interoperability and find time efficient solutions

·Ensure supplier participation in all relevant areas

·Ensure the project’s safety and interoperability deliverables interoperability and activities is aligned with EMO safety.

A minimum of a Post-graduate diploma, preferable a Master of Science or similar competency achieved via experience.

·Competency within Safety Management.

·Experience with safety management, CENELEC and CSM-RA

·Project management experience

·Signalling system experience

·International experience is preferable

Responsible and detail oriented. Ability to structure own tasks within given framework. Accepting to work in ever changing environment. Ability to adjust to changing tasks and thus reprioritize own efforts to meet changing demands. Able to communicate a various levels of abstraction and with people from various professional disciplines. Ability to convert abstract to concrete.
