Perform a variety of construction engineering tasks to complete installation of new infrastructure at government facilities. Work involves participation and completion of all major components of the construction lifecycle process including A-E design, constructability review, procurement, construction administration and OM. Other project work may include drafting reports, technical analyses, program schedule and budget maintenance, estimating and developing construction, engineering and OM scopes of work. Tasks consist of supporting A-E designs of infrastructure upgrades and new constructions, writing reports and technical specifications, and obtaining the necessary management skills to grow into a Task/Project Manager.

  • Coordinates with supervisor, construction managers, other project managers and discipline leads at various office and project locations located throughout the US.

  • Performs task management duties such as developing scopes of work, weekly and monthly status reports, schedules, interfacing with the client and various stakeholders, tracking budgets and preparing estimates.

  • General knowledge of engineering design, development of Bid Packages, standard construction practices, safe working behavior and construction administration.

Candidate must embrace zero incident philosophy, track safety metrics, embrace philosophy of continuous quality improvement and sustainability.

Project Location – Denver, CO. travel required (20-54%)..


Independently develops and/or supervises the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements. This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status.

Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.

Provides support for other engineering activities as required. May supervise one or more subordinates and provide input regarding performance.

May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate-size project.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.


5 to 10 years of experience

B.S. or M.S. in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or similar degree

Applicant should have experience with infrastructure design, construction administration and management and OMM.

Excellent communication skills including writing and verbal are required.

Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and prepare for and hold progress meetings.

Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and Project.

Proficient with cost comparison analyses of architectural/ engineering design and construction bids.

Position is contingent upon US background check (HSPD-12 approval).

10-hour OSHA Construction training course is preferred.
