We are currently seeking a security administrator to help us deliver best-in-class services to our federal government clients.

The ideal candidate will become an integral part of a team that supports the security of critical DoD facilities. Your job will ensure that the Air Force Program Executive Office for Space protects against unauthorized or inadvertent disclosure, destruction, transfer, alteration, or loss of National Security Space (NSS) systems research and technology through guiding military, civilians and contractor support personnel with security matters necessary to execute a viable security program for over 5,000 personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and conduct classified indoctrinations, and initial and annual security education training and awareness briefings, as well as debriefings.

  • Administration of information security functions: marking classified documents, derivative classification, safeguarding, storage and destruction, transmission and transportation of classified and controlled unclassified information.

  • Administration of physical security functions: maintain facility accreditation documentation for 3 facilities, conduct entry/exit inspections and self-inspections, and respond to alarms from intrusion detection systems which may include after normal duty hours, process accreditation documentation for all other facilities under security cognizance of system security officer.

  • Manage mass-personnel status changes and foreign travel reporting.

  • Coordinate access control and meetings with respect to visitors

  • Use and maintain JPAS/DISS portals.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Two or more years (2+) years of related experience

  • Bachelor’s degree; (a MS degree in a relevant discipline can substitute for 1 year of experience, and 4 years of experience can substitute for a BS degree.)

  • Active security clearance with SCI access
