Piping Engineer with Extensive Facilities Experience

Are you an experienced engineer in the oil and gas segment with a diverse background in plant design and piping? Are you located in Houston, but willing to travel as needed to other project sites in Lousiana? If so, this is the position for you!

OurEngineers areexpected to complete a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline. Our engineers work in a team, onprojects that may include Feasibility studies, FEED or full turnkey EPC opportunities.

In this role, you are expected to beexperienced in all aspects of design, for both large and small diameter pipe and related facilities, including experience in working with pipe material selection, flow and pressure design, drafting/designers, preparation of specifications, preparation of construction contracts, as well as management of construction projects.

We value project experiencewith gas and liquid measurement, treating, separation, dehydration, pumps and compressors, gas and liquid storage, codes standards and testing requirements.

This is amarquee Federal Design/Build project with a 2022 completion date.


  • Coordinates skid packages

  • Prepares and submits project status reports

  • Coordinates and interfaces with client staff and various Engineering disciplines

  • Reviews project plans and schedules

  • Prepares and reviews PFD (Process Flow Diagram)

  • Reviews CAD drawings

  • Prepares and reviews PIDs (Piping Instrument Drawings)

US Citizenship is required. A National Agency Check will be required.

Applicants selected for employment will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet additional eligibility requirements for access to classified information or materials.

$64k to $110k annual with full benefits depending on experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or related degree) from an accredited school/university

  • Minimum 3+ years of related work experience

  • Texas and Louisiana Professional Engineer registration is required

  • Oil and gas experience, specifically in refineries, preferred

  • Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages, especially SmartPlant suite of products typically associated with engineering and project management is required.

US Citizenship is required.A National Agency Check will be required.
