Provide radar Hardware (HW) and antenna design analysis for a new ground based, Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) radar
Co-chair the Hardware Engineering IPT
Oversee HW verification and validation testing
Provide radar HW Integration Design assessments
Provide technical support to Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Technology Readiness Assessments and Levels (TRAs/TRLs), Design Reviews (PDR, CDR, FDR), Production Readiness Assessments (PRRs), Manufacturing Readiness Assessments and Levels (MRAs/MRLs), etc.
Provide technical Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) assessments
Evaluate contractor performance analysis and perform their own data assessments as required
Review and understand Development Contractor’s Statement of Work (SOW) requirements and deliverables/Objective Evidence (OE) such as contract data requirements lists (CDRLs) and Accessible Data Products (ADPs)
Provide technical assessments of Development Contractor’s HW processes, data products, deliverables
Review documents and processes of prime contractor to ensure contractual requirements are being met
Effectively communicate both orally and in writing
7 years’ experience supporting a Hardware Engineering technical effort
2 years of direct MDA support highly desired
Working knowledge of Radar Hardware
Fielding of an operational asset (preferably for MDA)
Mechanical design experience
Ability to read and interpret mechanical hardware drawings
Familiarity of geometric, dimensioning, and tolerances (GDT)
Familiarity of machining large pieces with tight tolerances and many features
Experience in large mechanical assembly and processes
Experience with quality control
Manufacturing and production
Proof of U.S.citizenship or permanent residency is required due to government or federalrequirement.
U.S. citizens ONLY due to government or federal requirement.
Secret Clearance or higher required
- BSMechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 7 years of related experience
