We are actively looking for an experienced design engineer to support our growing backlog of Road/Highway design projects in the TN, IN and KY region. You can be based out of one of any of the following offices: Memphis or Nashville TN, Evansville IN, or Louisville KY. We are respected by our clients as an organization with strong technical skills, and solid project delivery and performance for transportation projects in the region!

In this role, you willperform horizontal/vertical geometric design and 3D modeling, develop alignment plans, profiles, cross-sections, calculate super-elevations, perform grading design, as well as prepare relevant permits/plan documents. Additional responsibilities might include preparation of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents. Our engineers prepare standard engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates and collaborate with other engineers to ensure quality of design. Projects may include roadway expansions, interstate HOV lanes, ramps, auxiliary lanes, and continuous flow intersections.
4-year degree in CivilEngineering (or related field)
5+ year of design experience with road and highway projects.
Strong background in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation Inroads modeling is a necessity.
Experience with Tennessee, Indiana, or Kentucky State DOT projects is highly desirable
Ability to lead efforts in design and compiling construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
PE license is highly desirable or preferred for candidates with greater than 6 years experience.
