We’ve built recycled wastewater treatment plants with membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology , we’ve constructed advanced ultraviolet (UV) disinfection facilities, and we’ve used reverse osmosis (RO) processes to transform saline water into millions of gallons of clean, drinkable water.

We have delivered major programs like combined sewer control systems for the City of Atlanta and Columbus, GA, major projects like DeKalb County’s Snapfinger Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility, Cobb County’s South Cobb Tunnel and Noonday Creek WWTP, Gwinnett County’s Shoal Creek Raw Water Pump Station and Lake Tap along with numerous other projects. Recently awarded the engineering project of the year for our design/build of the Withlacoochee WWTP in Valdosta, our team focuses on understanding our client’s needs and delivering the right project to meet those needs.

Responsibilities :

  • In this role, we want to leverage your technical expertise and market relationships to develop and grow our business and our team of experts in the fields of water, and wastewater process engineering.

  • You will assist in the hiring process, and will provide oversight and direction to multi-disciplined teams, and drive projects to successful completion.

  • You will help Parsons strengthen market share by meeting and exceeding client expectations with your own knowledge and contacts in these critical areas of water engineering.

  • At Parsons, our Engineering Managers are still very hands on, and assist their team in design tasks, as well as support management tasks including managing scope/schedule/budget for active projects.

Requirements :

Must have a 4-year degree in Engineering or related technical/business field and at least 15+ years of related work experience in designing and delivering water/ wastewater systemsis required.

Georgia PE license or the ability to obtain a Georgia PE license within 6 monthsis required.

Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background, as well as previous project management experience with managing municipal water and wastewater projects.

Must have the proven ability to develop leads for new business, sell the company’s services to clients and the desire to perform business development functions, in addition to the Project Management functions.
