You will be a member of a team comprised of system engineers and application and hardware engineers/developers for the design of unique subsystems that will be ultimately integrated into the overall operating system.


  • Assess system architecture and current hardware limitations. You will

  • Participate in gathering business and product functional and performance requirements,

  • Defining and designing system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility

  • Perform software/policy upgrades on existing systems

  • Conduct routine maintenance operations on existing systems hardware and software including patches

  • Position will draw from experience in Systems Development Life-Cycle Management (i.e. plan, analyze, design, implement, and maintain)

  • Possesses ability to provide recommendations to facilitate enhancements of existing technology through the use of the Enterprise Change Request (ECR) process.

  • Possesses the ability to work well, integrate, coordinate, and knowledge share with the STACC team.

  • Possesses the knowledge and ability to ensure systems are in compliance with DISA STIGs in addition to knowledge of performing ACAS scans

  • Build, secure, migrate, implement, and document virtualized server solutions in an environment that supports VMware hosting of Windows and other applications on an enterprise network that utilizes SAN technologies and BMC monitoring solutions.

  • Possesses the ability to troubleshoot fielded systems, test new systems/configurations in a lab environment, and actively participate in technical meetings.

  • Possesses the ability to communicate technical knowledge and direction through briefs, requirements specifications, system design descriptions, test plans and reports, SOVTs, implementation plans and other documentation as well as participate in technical reviews of these deliverables.

  • Be the point person (SME) regarding Windows 2016.


  • 2 + years of related experience

  • Active Directory/MS Exchange

  • Windows 10

  • Windows Server 2016

  • Powershell

  • Minimum DOD 8570.1 IAT Level II certification requirements

  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required due to government of federal requirement.

  • Applicants selected for employment may be subject to a federal background investigation and may need to meet additional eligibility requirements for access to classified information or materials.

  • TS/SCI required.
