We like Electrical engineers who have a broad interest in all types of site, indoor and plant building elements. We presently focus on electrical upgrades, facilities optimization and recommissioning of the built environment. In addition, our engineers design unique and challenging projects that are First of a Kind.We perform facilities assessments to make expert recommendations to clients for energy and sustainability improvements. Engineers who have interest and experience in power distribution systems, mechanical pumping, lighting systems, power management systems, grounding and lightning protection systems, Utilization-voltage substations, protective relaying, switchgear, manufacturing and testing laboratories, and microgrid distributed generation would be successful in this role.

Responsibilities mean you are aprincipal team member for design of new facilities, upgrades/expansions of built facilities, engineering studies and calculations, scheduling, developing standards and assuring compliance with industry standards. You will prepare plans and details, write specifications, track change orders, oversee project implementation, audit facilities for deficiencies, design/construct high voltage networks, substations, feeders, switchgear and other utilization voltage and medium-voltage systems.

Salary Range:

$60,000 to $110,000 annual with full benefits

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Must have 3+ years experience in electrical design, for Oil and Gas Facilities design or similar heavy industrial facilities, with an emphasis on electrical systems design for facilities.

  • Experience performing site assessments of electrical and mechanical systems is desirable.

  • PE License is preferred.

  • Must have a proficiency in managing a team of Computer Aided Design (Microstation and Intergraph SmartPlant). Must be proficient with common software applied to electrical engineering work, such as SKM PowerTools, and illumination design software like AGI-32. Proficiency with common office software is a must.

  • Experience with the following would be ideal: power distribution equipment, HVAC, lighting systems, UPS, grounding / lightning protection systems, utilization-voltage and medium-voltage substations, switchgear, clean room systems, diesel generator plants, thermal and PV solar, energy storage, Microgrids and distributed generation resources.

  • US Citizenship is required.A National Agency Check will be required.
