Parsons is hiring an Executive Assistant to support the President / CEO of Parsons Federal Credit Union along with other members of the management team.

Parsons extensive experience combined with your attention to detail and willingness to work hard will propel your career forward. We need our Assistants at this level to gather statistics and general data; reviews and combines this information into established reports for use within and outside the unit.

In this role you will perform numerous administrative support activities for the credit union, many of which are highly confidential or sensitive in nature. We need our Executive Secretaries to exercise good judgment and discretion in the execution of all duties and responsibilities.


  • Preparesthe Board of Director packages and schedules all Board meetings and providessupport including documenting the meeting minutes. Also responsible forarranging the annual Strategic Planning session venue and providing support forthis extended day event.

  • Receivesand screens visitors, telephone calls, and mail. Personally, responds toas many inquiries as possible, referring remaining inquiries to appropriateindividuals within the company for timely responses. Prioritizesresponses to incoming calls from both inside and outside the company.

  • Preparescorrespondence and reports, much of which is confidential in nature.Composes non-routine correspondence from brief notes or verbal instructions andcomposes replies to routine correspondence on own initiative. Initiatesdrafts of replies to other correspondence or inquiries for review byexecutive. Proofreads and/or re-formats drafts of documents created byexecutive for spelling, grammar, and clarity of communication so that finalcorrespondence is signature-ready.

  • Schedulesmeetings, conferences, and appointments; establishes and maintains calendar ofevents and keeps executive informed of commitments. Makes arrangementsfor and hosts visiting dignitaries. Makes travel arrangements,coordinating airline and auto rental reservations, hotel accommodations, andexpense reports.

  • Preparesmeeting agenda, reports, files, and other materials for meetings. Maygenerate presentation graphs or charts using various graphics software.Maintains minutes of meetings when appropriate along with follow up items.

  • Establishesand maintains follow-up files and confidential files for immediate supervisor.

  • Initiatesroutine and non-routine reports as appropriate. Researches and compilesstatistical information and related data, produces special or recurringreports, and completes special projects as assigned. Produces anddistributes data in graphic, spreadsheet, or narrativeformat.

  • Establishesand maintains databases as required.

  • Keepscurrent on all corporate policies and procedures. Serves as focal pointfor gathering newly published policies and the dissemination of materials.

  • Performsother responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.


  • Bachelor’s Degreepreferred.

  • 5-8 years ofexperience in an administrative capacity

  • Excellentcommunication skills.

  • Proficient atMicrosoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
