Position Overview:

We are looking for a recognized Leader to grow and lead our Infrastructure team for the Los Angeles Metro area. Our infrastructure group includes management, design, construction and planning for Transportation, Water/Wastewater and Industrial projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing external customer focused strategies to increase our business line market share and build our brand within this important market. As a key member of the management team, you will provide overall team leadership to achieve profitable growth for all divisions in the regional area. Through leadership and collaboration with local market line managers from each of our four divisions, this Senior Vice President is responsible for maintaining and growing Parsons reputation as the leader in the infrastructure industry, including further developing and growing the geographic market by effectively partnering with top customer/agency leaders.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leverage your key contacts within private organizations and state and municipal agencies

  • Build and implement effective sales/marketing initiatives to drive market growth;

  • Provide leadership to develop a coordinated team of market line managers that work collaboratively and in alignment with the business plan;

  • Develop, in conjunction with market line managers, strong client relationships and teaming strategies to win new work;

  • Manage complex win strategies and proposal efforts that entail both conventional/traditional contract and procurement methods as well as alternative project delivery methods;

  • Identify, recruit and approve strategic hires to achieve geographic growth objectives;

  • Report and coordinate with the Global Business Development Director, Division Managers and other Business Development Managers to maximize Infrastructure’s overall growth goals;

  • Facilitate Go/No-go decisions for the pursuits in the local market;

  • Serve as the Corporate face of Infrastructure for customers/clients in the local area;

  • Provide leadership to the market line managers in attaining the local market goals;


  • 4-year degree in related field and 20+ years of broad and diversified experience within the Transportation and Industrial industries in the Los Angeles Metro region.

  • Must have successful business development track record in the transportation industry, with experience in both traditional and alternative project delivery procurement methods in the region.

  • Road and Highway experiencepreferred.

  • Proven leader in client relationship management, strategic planning, strategic teaming and proposal strategy and negotiation.

  • Ability to leverage your key contacts with private organizations and state and municipal agencies within the region and build a robust sales pipeline for Parsons.
