Parsons is seeking a Talent Researcher to provide support to Sourcers in researching market trends and identifying external talent using innovative sourcing techniques. The Talent Researcher will be responsible for partnering with Sourcers to develop a robust pipeline utilizing the organization’s tools, processes, and knowledge. She/he will serve as an expert in the research process including knowledge of resources, target companies, and industries. The successful individual will help their recruiting partners develop innovative ways to identify talent in addition to market trends and business intelligence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A RESEARCHER
Identifies external talent from a variety of sources. Serves as a resource to Recruiters and Sourcers to find and cultivate candidates.
Gathers data around competition and market conditions or trends that may impact our ability to find and hire the right talent.
Challenges the status quo through meaningful data that informs a better and stronger recruiting process.
Demonstrates skill in recruiting research methods that will primarily focus on name generation.
Relieves Recruiters/Sourcers from positions who need extra attention filling with the right candidate.
Consistently passing along new names for the Sourcer to reach out and connect with both potential candidates and networking opportunities.
Increase talent pipelines and create better opportunities for quality candidates.
Build accessible “name generation” sheets for future easy accessibility.
Focus on the passive candidates through their social media and anywhere else they have Web presence.
Manually sort through profiles and social network data using the most up to date technology and resources beyond the resume.
Stay on top of technological trends that could be an advantage for the Recruiters/Sourcers.
Be the helping hand, and extend it to anyone in need across the team.
Create new and creative ways to help the Recruiters/Sourcers access information on any specific candidate type through graphs, old data, and connections internally.
Attend weekly conference calls
Stay connected with the Sourcers and where each open position stands.
Minimum 0-2 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing or internet research
Highly skilled in researching, internet search and database mining
Skilled in Microsoft office suite and excel
Ability and comfort level with providing data analysis and reporting, as required
A proactive approach to completing assignments
Professional demeanor and customer service attitude
Associate or Bachelors degree (may be in process of completion)
- Understanding of technical disciplines associated with cyber, engineering, construction or corporate positions.
