Parsons is seeking DevOps Engineers to support diverse and challenging systems that are evolving with the technology landscape. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the automation and continuous integration of software build products for fielded computer systems. This is your chance to help us with a vital mission.
Design,develop and maintain a DevOps framework to support build server automation,deployment of Kubernetes, administration/optimization of Kubernetes, and automationof RMF scans (ACAS/NESSUS/HP Fortify) into the software development lifecycle.
Developcustomer and team documentation of the DevOps process.
Performmaintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting.
Providetechnical support and training to project team and customer
Experiencewith Kubernetes orchestration technology
Expertwithin Linux (RHEL, Centos, Ubuntu)
Expertwith Linux scripting (Bash, Python, Gawk, Perl, Groovy)
Experiencewith source code repository tools (GIT, SVN).
Experiencewith Agile development practices
Expertwith build automation technologies (Jenkins, Gradle, GIT, SVN, Maven, Ivy)
Experiencewith automated configuration management tools (Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef)
Experiencewith Artifact binary repository management (Nexus, Maven, Artifactory)
Experiencewith distributed platforms (Kafka, Hadoop, Spark)
Experiencewith OS package management systems (Yum, Apt)
ABachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in ComputerEngineering, Computer Science, Computer Security, Information Technology orrelated discipline
Musthave 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
Proofof US Citizenship is required
Applicantsselected for employment must have a DoD TS security clearance and must meetadditional eligibility requirements for access to classified information ormaterials.
Experiencedeveloping in AWS GovCloud or another cloud service provider
Experiencewith VMWare vSphere, vSAN and ESXi virtualization technologies
Experiencewith KVM/QEMU technology
Experiencemirroring Linux repositories on a closed network
Experiencewith Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Stash, Crowd, Confluence, etc.)
Understandingof networked system services to include DNS, DHCP, NTP, HTTP, Log Servers, andUser Authentication services
Experiencewith automated test suites (Selenium, Lettuce, etc.)
