Are you a world-class Rail and Transitexpert with project management experience on Design/Build projects? Do you enjoy developing and maintaining client relationships and capturing and delivering exciting and challenging projects?
We are searching for an experienced Manager or Program Manager - one that is well versed indeveloping client relationships and managing Design/Build projects.In thisrole, you will work onHigh Profile projectsbringing strategic transportation solutions to our clients in the southern Washington region. You will lead, direct and manage every phase of design/build as well as conventional rail/transit projects to ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. Projects or programsare valued up to $100 million in total installed cost.
Our Design/Build Managersprovide oversight and direction to multi-disciplined teams, possessing effective management and leadership skills capable of driving the successful completion of projects and structural engineering tasks while helping to strengthen market share by meeting or exceeding client expectations. We expect you tooperate as a "seller/doer", running projects and performing BD functions to create new opportunities for Parsons.
4-year degree in Engineering or related technical/business field and 15+ years of related work experience in Rail/Transit is required.
Prior experience must include significant rail/transit experience in planning studies and design projects at the Project Manager level.
Design/Build experience is required.
Experience should also include client management, business development and team management. Establish and maintain client contacts. Strengthen current business ties.
Proven experience identifying strategic opportunities within existing projects.
Familiarity with traditional and alternative delivery methods is required.
Must have experience working with Sound Transit Rail and Transit customers at some point inyour career.
Professional Engineer certification required.
