Parsons is an award-winning, global engineering firm with honed expertise in critical infrastructure and cyber security. We have an opportunity to support the FAA’s upgrade of its physical security and access control infrastructure. Duties and Functions :

As the national Program Director you will manage a $100M+ multi-faceted program, and serve as the contractor's authorized interface with the FAA’s Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), government management personnel, and customer agency representatives. You will be responsible for formulating and overseeing multiple, concurrent, federal work releases, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, and supervising contractor personnel. As the Program Director, you will also create and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress to corporate management and clients. You will maintain client contacts to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations, and you will ensure the development, maintenance, and implementation of orders and required management plans.

This program consists of multiple projects to locate, design, install, test, integrate, and maintain complex security systems and facilities. These facilities and/or systems are located at numerous locations throughout the nation at FAA service areas and centers. You will establish procedures and controls to bring these facilities and systems to a point of full compliance with the latest security standards.

*Work is expected to being in December of 2018.

Required Qualifications :

  • A Bachelor Degree or equivalent in, Management, Engineering, Business, Architecture, or Science. (Professional Engineer (PE) certifications can also be considered in lieu of a degree.)

  • Twenty years of progressive general engineering related management experience in design, installation, integration, and testing of complex electronics equipment.

  • The 20 years of experience should include fifteen years of general experience, including design, installation, testing, and integrating complex systems and subsystems, and at least 5 years of specialized experience in the direct supervision and management of projects. Furthermore, you should have at least 2 years of experience managing large ($1M - $5M or greater) technical government contracts involving subordinate groups of at least 100 personnel.

  • You will be required to travel to FAA locations including in NJ, OK, GA, TX, WA and elsewhere.
